Hi, my name is Cynthia, but you can call me Cindy.
I am a UX/UI designer who is passionate about telling people stories and developing memorable experiences through the products I design. My journey to UX Design started in Seattle, at Grand Image. I was tasked to explore Asana, as a new project management tool, and to customize the workflow for our Creative team. Since I love puzzles, I found this process of research, peer interviews, customization, testing, and refinement exciting. After the project was complete and everyone was onboard, I wanted more. To gain more knowledge on UX Design, I enrolled in Designlab’s UX Academy program.
My creative process is guided by the double diamond method. I am able to discover and define clearly the project goals before moving into development. During the ideation phase, I enjoy sketching out wireframes and icons, to get the creative solutions flowing, before designing digitally. Testing and iteration are key for developing a product that is easy and enjoyable to use.
As a Designer, I thrive in teamwork environments, but can also focus on individual projects, as well. I am comfortable in fast-paced and agile environments. When working collaboratively on projects, I believe having a clear and active line of communication is important to success.
